About us

Vercoe Brown is conveniently located on Elles Road in Georgetown. Our practice was founded after the end of WWII in Morton St. It changed hands several times until Dr John Vercoe took over in 1981. Since then we have rebuilt our surgery and offer a comfortable, well equipped practice to meet the primary care needs of you and your family.

We are here to assist with your health needs and provide you and your family with a high standard of care. We provide a comprehensive range of General Practice services in a friendly and supportive environment.

Our Health Centre is easily accessible, with off-street parking and wheelchair access. We all share the belief that the satisfaction of family medicine comes from continuity of care. That means building relationships and looking after people over a long period of time.

The Vercoe Brown provides:
- FREE Doctor visits for all enrolled patients under 14 years of age
- FREE ACC visits for all enrolled and casual patients under 14 years of age
- FREE Child immunisations
- FREE Smoking Cessation support
